Is there a method of share trading which produces better results than others ?

May 23, 2010 - 5:34 am 2 Comments

There are several strategies to share buying and selling eg fundamental evaluation, technical evaluation, inclusion of cease losses. Which mix of strategies generates the very best results lengthy term on the ASX or other.

You’ll find many techniques to share buying and selling eg fundamental analysis, technical analysis, inclusion of stop losses. Is there investigation knowledge showing which blend of procedures produces the best final results extended term on the ASX or other.

As the details above state, the question is regardless of whether there’s research information to indicate the very best mixture of strategies. Opinions and products being sold are nice, but the net is full of them. PLEASE restrict your answers to evidence-based exploration info. Thanks.

The reason why you can find so many distinct strategies is that nobody can agree on which is greatest. If there was a ‘fool-proof’ far better technique, everybody would adopt it and all the others would disappear.
therefore the answer is NO!

What is long term share trading and how is it differs to intraday share trading?

Please give me some details of all applicable taxes while purchasing and selling the share, its some useful features and procedures / possibles ways to trading

Naveen,
Long term share trading means – Buying shares of a company and holding them for atleast 1 or 2 years before selling them.

Intra day means – buying a share during the beginning of the trading day and selling them before the trading closes for the day. Even if you do not sell them, the system would automatically sell off your shares by the day end irrespective of whether you make a profit or a loss.

Long term investing is always safer than intraday because predicting the price movement over a single day is not very easy. But over the long term companies that are fundamentally sound you can expect good capital appreciation.

All the best. Happy investing.

Cheers,
Anand

Share Trading?

May 17, 2010 - 6:13 pm 3 Comments

Do many home traders really make a good living from trading? I have nticed that looking at volume and buyers verses sellers can in theary be a profitable method of picking stocks to trade,as soon as the sellers outnumber buyers sell. What do you think?
Thanks

I think that as long as there is volatility in the market, an astute home trader can make a good living. Just be aware that a lot of home traders trade on margin and use options, which both increase risk.

I think the main key is to get in on a developing trend before the Wall Street herd discovers it, ride it up, and then bail out before everyone else does.
